I've only read one other novel by Keith Walker but it was so good I added all of his other books to my Amazon wishlist. His book was so good I wanted to read his poetry book and it was amazing. If you love poetry you will love this book. He has a little bit of everything from traditional poems, to freestyle raps, to conscious poetry, to love poems, to poems that illustrate the lives of gangstas and dope fiends. I became hooked on Keith Thomas Walker when I purchased his book Brick House and I have been a fan ever since. The poetry in this book is well written, inspiring and just beautiful!! KTW has proven over and over again that he is more than just a romance and suspense writer, he is a poet too!! Keep up the good work Mr. Thomas!!!
